Womens Residential Facility
The CAAAPU Women’s Residential Facility was launched in August 2009, in memory of the late Lana Abbott who devoted her time to the cause of AOD treatment and rehabilitation services. The Women’s Residential Facility provides a 24 hour in house career service for Aboriginal women suffering from acute alcohol abuse problems. The facility houses up to 10 clients, and provides a safe place for treatment, education and counseling programs. Life skills training, educational courses, medical treatment and recreational therapies are on offer as a variety of ways to assist our clients with their rehabilitation and efforts to lead healthy and productive lifestyles.
