CAAAPU - Board & Staff
CAAAPU is hugely fortunate to have a wide and varied staff complement, with individuals that really work together well as a solid team. With a great mix of academic qualifications and personal experience, CAAAPU staff can relate to everyone, and on every level. And with the personal Indigenous interaction skills on hand means that CAAAPU does command a high level of respect amongst the communities it is helping. One of the challenges CAAAPU is facing is in the upgrading of staff’s skills. They have applied for funding to support this, CAAAPU aims to have staff qualified in levels 3 and 4 in drugs and alcohol rehabilitation. As all staff need to be at their benchmark.Another challenge is to put CAAAPU under the RTO (Registered Training Organisation) system. Therefore clients would graduate with current, relevant qualifications to aid them further into gaining employment. |
